Enter the characters together or separate them with spaces; spaces are optional and ignored. ISO-8859-1 hexadecimal codes such as \xDF are accepted. Frequent additions: - ' ’ œ Œ \xDF \xE6 \xF8.

Help

This tool generates wordlists from a text:

• Paste your text in the textarea, and click on 'Generate'.
• Click on 'Config' to choose the filters visually. The configuration is saved in a cookie when you click 'Save configuration', and automatically when you generate a list.
• Accepted chars by default: A-Za-zÁÀÂÄÃÅÇÉÈÊËÍÏÎÌÑÓÒÔÖÕÚÙÛÜÝáàâäãåçéèêëíìîïñóòôöõúùûüýÿ
• The form is divided into four stages:
  • Characters and separators: add accepted characters, remove unwanted characters or split hyphenated words.
  • Word selection: filter by length, content or capitalisation.
  • Normalisation: adjust case and accents, merge variations or remove duplicates.
  • Count, sort and display: count occurrences, set count limits, sort and choose one word per line.
• For Additional accepted characters, Characters to remove and Variation endings to merge, spaces between characters are optional and are not stored in the configuration. Fields containing fragments still use spaces as separators.
• \xAD represents the invisible soft hyphen (Unicode U+00AD), sometimes inserted inside words copied from formatted documents. It is removed by default so that the two parts remain one word.
• Frequent special characters: \xDF = German Eszett (ß), \xE6 = Latin ae ligature (æ), \xF8 = Latin small letter o with stroke (ø), \xC6 = uppercase Latin AE ligature (Æ), \xD8 = uppercase Latin letter O with stroke (Ø), and \xA0 = non-breaking space (invisible). Characters outside ISO-8859-1, such as Latin oe ligatures (œ, Œ) and the typographic apostrophe (’), can be entered directly.
• Treat non-breaking spaces as spaces converts Unicode U+00A0 to an ordinary separator before words are extracted. This option is enabled by default.
• Minimum and maximum occurrence filters apply when occurrence counting is enabled.
• An older cookie using the former textual format is converted into the form automatically. Any unrecognised legacy option is kept when the form is saved.
